Since the Syrian Revolution erupted in 2011, the regime has confronted it with various armed responses to suppress its demands for freedom, justice and equality.
The regime has launched 222 attacks using internationally prohibited chemical weapons, killing over 1600 people in these atrocities. Investigations by the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and the United Nations have proven the Assad regime’s responsibility for many of these attacks that violate international law and Security Council resolutions. However, the criminals escaped accountability, while Russia and the Assad regime continue to mislead and attempt to snuff out the truth.
